Learn how to authorizate with Geocoders API

Account Authorization

Geocoders uses modern user Authentication to ensure your credentials always remain safeguarded. When first creating your account you have the option to signup using a magic link or via password.

Magic Link 🪄

To create your account via the magic link, simply add your email address and click the Get magic link 🪄 button. The magic link does not require you to create or remember a password. You will receive a Welcome to Geocoders email with a verify account link.

The Magic link is the recommended Authentication method.

Password

You can always sign up for Geocoders using an email & password combination. Simply select the Password option and fill in your email address and password.

API Authorization

Prerequisite You should have an account created on Geocoders Dashboard

API authorization is done using API keys. These keys can be created to directly in the Geocoders Platform. For a more detail overview on API Keys, please refer to the Create an API Key section in the Quickstart.
